Logan Ryan Golema
President
Logan founded the Cayman Islands Fencing Federation in May 2019. He is a life time fencer and competed at the Empire State Games in New York. Due a series of injuries, he now fights from the sidelines and cheers on those that wish to embrace the sport. Logan is the founding Partner of InterPlanetary Fund Management Group and the owner and Chief Technology Officer of Lunargistics, a company involved with the commercialization of space. Logan is an 'ideas guy' and brings his vision and creativity to the organization. He recently relocated to Portugal, but is still active in the CIFF at the board level.
Eve van den Bol
Secretary General
Eve brings an extensive background in sports federation management to the CIFF, having served on the board of the Cayman Islands Equestrian Federation for seven years, including 4 years as its President. During her tenure as president, she was a member of the FEI Solidarity Committee, and developed close working relationships with the leadership of the FEI, the global governing body of equestrian sport.
Eve retired several years ago after a successful career on Wall Street working in the Mergers & Acquisitions departments of PaineWebber (now UBS), and Merrill Lynch (now Bank of America), the latter as a Managing Director. She graduated from MIT with a degree in economics and earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Taiba Khan
Director
Taiba recently joined Lunargistics Corp as the Managing Director of Human Resources. Prior to this, she was a Fund Accountant at MUFG Investor Services and an Audit Senior at both Deloitte and EY in the Cayman Islands. Prior to her arrival in Cayman, she worked as an Audit Senior at Deloitte India. Taiba graduated from Delhi University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honors, in Accounting and Finance and earned a Masters of Commerce, Accounting and Finance from Annamalai University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Taiba held the position of Treasurer of the CIFF until she relocated to Portugal in January 2021. She remains active on the board especially as it pertains to financial matters.
Kendall Ebanks
Sporting Director
Kendall currently owns and operates The Performance Lab, a fitness center located in George Town, which he founded. From 2007 to 2013, Kendall served as an ambassador and National Athlete in Boxing for the Cayman Islands. He has also represented the Cayman Islands internationally in the sport of Triathlon. Kendall recently completed and became the Honor man of the famed Modern Day Knight (MDK) Project Class 009 being the only person from the Caribbean Region to do so. He is a certified USA boxing coach and brings club management, entrepreneurship and sport development skills to the board.
Bennard Ebanks Jr.
Director & Athletes' Representative
Ben currently works in the Public Transport Unit (PTU) as a Bus Depot Officer. Ben previously served as a Police Constable from 2018 to 2020. He also briefly worked with Travel Cayman as a Mobile Compliance Officer before transitioning to the PTU and enlisting as a Trooper in the Cayman Islands Regiment. Ben's journey as an athlete first began in 2010 when he took up boxing, and later he learned other martial arts such as Muay Thai kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Wrestling. In 2019, he took up epee fencing and has acted as an Assistant Coach for the Cayman Islands Fencing Federation's lesson program. Ben still proudly serves in the CI Regiment and in 2021 become an Athlete's Representative on the CIFF's Board of Directors.
Ashley van den Bol
Director & Athletes' Representative
Ashley is a second-year student majoring in Finance and Data Science at the Stern School of Business at New York University (NYU). Ashley is currently interning at Schroders PLC in their Private Equity Department and is a member of NYU's Fencing team (NCAA Division 1) in Sabre. Ashley was a four-year member of her high school fencing team, serving as Captain her senior year, leading the women's fencing team to the New Jersey State Championship. She twice received the Dawes prize from her high school which recognizes both excellence in fencing and sportsmanship. Ashley is also an equestrian athlete and has represented the Cayman Islands at equestrian competitions in the USA, Barbados and Jamaica, including podium finishes at the Children of the Americas Dressage Invitational and the PAEC Caribbean Junior Jumping Challenge. Ashley joined the board of the CIFF in 2021 as an Athletes' Representative.
